Just changed my brake pads, 2 in front were easy
I got to the rear passenger side and it was sort of easy (hex key was in an awkward position)
then i move to the last side, driver side rear.
Everything came out okay, I didn't notice if the manual adjustment screw came out stripped or if I stripped it trying to get it back in.
but when it came time to put the screw in it wouldn't go in
so i pulled it out and find it stipped like this.

where can I buy this part?
is there another easy fix to get the piston retracted without this screw?

please reply if you have any info. need to get this fixed ASAPPP!

damn I wish I was as close are you are to the East coast. shipping from the east coast usually takes a week to get to me. :cry2:

hopefully i can find local otherwise guess I'll just order from them

hey 95merlot, once you got the new screws did it screw in with no hassle? I'm afraid i'm going to buy the part then realize that its the caliper thats messed up.

these just slip onto the gear so you can tighten the piston. they ride around inside the caliper loose so if you wanted to, you could take them out and store them in a toolbox

:EDIT: mine were missing approximately 3/4 of the teeth so new ones were very beneficial to me. yea, east coast shipping only took 2 days :)
