Ok I got the stock steering wheel off

Now this little wire is in my way to get the hub on. I noticed in pictures that other hubs don't have that black part in the back. but that's what the horn wire on the hub is soldered to. Should I just rip it off? Or am I completely missing something.

What hub is that? Are you able to just remove the black part?

I forgot the brand, I got it off of some guy on craigslist he said the hub cost $90

I ended up removing the black plastic part and now these little things get in the way of that black wire hanging out. I'm able to tilt it so that the wire is in between the little corner things, but then the steering wheel is crooked

That's a different looking hub. Might be best to find the make of it and look up installation from the manufacturer. Wish I could help more.
