Hi all,
I need some advice on the above stated issue. Here's the down & dirty:

95 block & internals.
99 cylinder head with a mild port & polish and milled 8 thousandths due to overheating on the original engine.
New timing belt installed.


Engine was reassembled and installed 12/19. Engine idles smoothly and there are no problems other than the following:

Shifting into 4th and bringing the engine up to 4K your ok, once you try accelerating beyond that point the engine starts to seriously hesitate and the Tach starts pulsing from 4K down to 3K.
All the other gears seem fine. if I shift to fifth under the above circumstances, problem goes away.

Ideas?
