Hello,
So I got a heatshield/coldbox type deal for my Weapon R intake. Put it on, everything's fine. When I put my superfantasticawesomeness ebay strut bar back on, I saw that the bottom portion of the heatshield/coldbox got pushed further down so it's touching the header heat shield. Since the heatshield/coldbox is made up of plastic, I feel like that's a big no no.

So my options are(without spending money.... so none of this "get a better strutbar/ intake hurp durp business):

1. Don't use the strut bar.
2. Take the header heat shield out
3. Umm.. hammer in the part of the header heat shield so that the grooves of the heatshield/coldbox fits.

I'm leaning towards number 1 because I probabbly benefit more from having that heatshield/coldbox than having that ebay strut bar. Right? What are you opinions? Any other ideas?

Thank you!

do custom cold side intake and use/trim stock snorkel for the piping you would need for it. costs no money, and its pretty easy to do.
