You must be new to the Miata's potential.
What your looking at there is a good Miata driver with a car that is probably well set up. The Viper driver, I am going to take a guess, does not have the track experience of the Miata driver. Thats not taking away anything from the Miata driver. Experience behind the wheel and a properly set up car are hard to beat.
