Hi guys, a good friend of mine needs my help and apparently I'll need to remove the rear bumper out of a '03 Altima.
Do you have any clue how the thing works with Altimas?
Is it with clips, does it have bolts/nuts?
What kind of tools I'll need?
Any hint would be greatly appreciated...

I'd recomend going to a library (do they have those in LA? ;) ) and seeing if you can find a shop manual for the car. ANd photocopy the pages you'll need.

remove all the bolts from the grill. the bolts under the grill, the bolts behind the fender and the bolts for the bumper support through the bottom grill. I am guessing here.

or a saw.

edit: never mind, i didnt read the rear part.

Rear bumper?

If it's anything like other sedans, it's usually brackets on the far "corners" of the U shape. You'll probably want a rivet gun, though you might get away with epoxy.

Other than that, there are clips underneath that clip to the main bumper support. There's undoubtedly some foam somewhere in there, and brackets all over for shape/support at speed.

Just strip the trunk, and look under the car while it's up on ramps or something. The rest ought to be obvious.
