my rpms are fluxing 500 and the volts are fluxing from 12.24 to 14.02. i have gone through countless batteries and alternators. is anybody having issues with the hydra blowing diodes in the alternator?

Go to flyinmiata.com and email Jeremy through tech support. He will be your best source, but yes I have read several posts about that with the 2.7. I believe there is a fix. Some have gone to a 96-'97 alternator. Check over on miata.net
