Had a NA about a year and a half ago. Sorry to say that the little car got rear ended and totaled while sitting at a red light by a 2 and a half ton stanley steamer truck. Hated to see the Miata go. Since them I purchased a Jaguar XJS, and 2 Vettes. But nothing drives like or is as fun like a miata. Now have a 2000 nb se 6 speed. Found many improvements over the na.
Still have one Vette, but mostly drive the NB.
I must say the NA held up very well. Trunk lid, rear panel destroyed, quarters slightly damaged as well as the trunk floor. Driver just sustained back injuries.
