So I just got 2 runabout style mirrors from LostSouls sale, and the mirror glass dosnt seem to be held in to well (it didnt come off during driving but I dont wanna take any chances).

I would like to use some sorta "rubber caulking" to seal the outside edge, I am sure before I go out and buy something that if I post on here I will get a much better idea to how to fix this problem

3m double sided foam tape, the gray stuff manufacturers use to stick emblems to cars.

Due to the design behind the glass is nothing but hollowness, theres ridges on the outside you sorta pop it into so it would have to go around the outside sorta like caulking.

clear silicon should work fine.

I am also going to measure the glass and pick up a convex stick on mirror because these mirrors are so small I cant really see anything

Fill the hollow area with expanding foam? Attach it accordingly.

The holllow area has to be hollow, its sorta hard to explain its a 2 peice "canister" and the round area pivots inside of the other canister (allowing you to adjust) so really the only way is to put some sorta sealant on the outside glass portion, cuz thers a little ledge that naturally holds it in but if I sealed over it, it would be perfect

I got some sealant today and tried it out, we will see how it works I am letting it dry

+1 for window weld if the stuff you've used fails

I will try to remember that! I ordered 3" convex mirrors that i am going to put ontop of the mirror glass of these, itll be ALOT more useable and should get rid of all the blind spots.

I saw those mirrors and wondered how they mounted. Let me know how the convex mirrors work out, I thought they looked a little small and I drive my car daily and can't risk big blind spots.

I honestly dont want to post pics, that sealant stuff is absolutely messy and when I put it on the area the mirrors sits down into some leaked ontop and went on the mirror but I figured oh well itll help it stay in, then it popped off again when installed and so I lost all cares and just put it the whole way around and it looks absolutely horrible haha, so I would rather not take pics of it

If you wet your finger with wd40 you can smooth the bead of silicone nicely like a joint in the edge of a tub. Silicone is kind of a PITA until you work with it awhile.

hmm, They look strange like that. I'm not being mean, I just think they are awkward looking. Like its the wrong mirror and it doesnt fit at all.
