I have some Work Ewing RS-Beta wheels, and I'm trying to figure out the size.

What I know:

Wheels have 205 45 16 tires which means that the wheels are 16". However, I'm not sure the all important offset and width.

So I whipped out the tape measure, and it appears that the wheels are 8 inches wide with a backspace of about 5.5, which means about 25mm offset. I don't think Work made RSBs at such a low offset. How would I get a more accurate number without removing the tire?

Lame. Most sets of wheels i've seen have it cast into the back of a spoke as well, usually something to the effect of "14.0-6.0J" then somewhere else a +38, etc.

1. Here is somebody selling a set of these exact same wheels in 16x7 +25 offset:

2. OK- let's look at your measurements. The overall width seems to be around 8.3". The backspace, as you said was 5.5".
8.3" / 2 = 4.15" <= if the offset was 0mm, the backspace would be 4.15"

5.5"-4.15" = 1.35" <= meaning your offset is +1.35"

1.35" * 25.4 = 34.29mm <= your offset in mm should be around +35mm

BTW- a 16X8 +35 wheel would look excellent. It is far from 'lame'.
