Hi,
Heres a few pics of the car and spec etc and some future plans for it! As you can see I'm a bit of a pic whore!ha:mrgreen:
Recently went over to England, and came back with this:

Spec list:
- 1.6 Jap import
- S-ltd model (aircon, red leather interior etc)
- 11 months MOT
- 5 months tax
- 103,000 miles
- Great condition inside and out

Its had a fair bit done to it which includes:

- HKS exhaust system
- Jasma manifold
- Mazdaspeed ht leads
- HKS mushroom filter
- Front strutbrace
- Uprated clutch
- Coilovers
- Standard LSD
- Drilled and groved disks all round

- New 16x8 et10 Rota RBR's with brand new tyres (195/40 toyo t1r's on the rear and 175/50 Yoko's up front)
- Front tow strap
- Rear tow hook
- OEM front splitter
- Bride seats on Bride rails
- Interior roll bar
- Momo steering wheel

Car was featured in November's Fast Car magazine

The car came 90% of the parts to turbo it to round 150bhp, all I need is a flange for the manifold and a flange for the downpipe.
Dont really have much of a clue how to install it and set it up so will probably be on here asking for a lot of help!
I'm new here so heres a few pictures of the car and the work i'.m currently doing to it....

I have 90 percent of the parts to turbo the car, need to get adaptors made for the manifold and downpipe then need to get an intercooler and maybe a megasquirt ecu.

Plans are:
-HSD coilovers
-Hardtop
-Turbo it
-Rota bm8's 15x9
-Tidy up spitter and bumber then respray bumper and spitter
-Touch up any stone chips
-Spray the number plate panel metallic black
-Get clear/smoked side lights as I dont like the blacked out ones

Had a fantastic summer driving this. Down to a friends wedding in Cork and a nephews wedding in norn Ireland and a trip around the coast of NI and ards Penninsula. So lots of kms covered this summer thankfully!

Friend of mine and myself gave the paint a proper polish with fusso coat and king of gloss on top. Absolutely delighted with the outcome!

Took it to a couple of car meets during the summer.

Got a good few trips in around Co. Donegal as well

Must say i absolutely love how the Mazdaspeed kit looks on this car.

Stopped off at the Cork/Limerick border for a quick slash in the most backward filling station ever ha ha

So thats a wrap for this year. We have our first kid on the way so the mx5 will likely have a break for a while.
Making a to do list:
  • Underside sandblasted, primed, painted and painted with a gravitex or raptor paint
  • Rebush all arms and new engine mounts
  • Sandblash and powdercoat all arms
  • Get new hardware or zinc coat current hardware

May likely end up paying someone to do the work or atleast a good sum of it as I don't want it to be off the road for that long as I love this car.

For NCT next year will need atleast 2 new rear brake calipers anyway. Major weakpoint on mx5s but the mk2.5 s-vt reconditioned calipers are awkward enough to get your hands on in Ireland.
