Hey everyone, I have a brand new A/C system and It gives off 40 degree air and a good flow... but my Hard dog roll bar radiates heat right beside my head. I also have a hardtop but the glass is broken and i'm running black soft top. With 100 degree temps outside, is there a way to keep the inside cool. I think the main thing is getting that hardtop back on with a tinted lexan window. Maybe like padding on the roll bar? Or a way to beef up the blower motor? Or perhaps blocking the passenger side vents that arent being used?

IMPOSSIBRU!

But seriously, if you want to reduce heat, paint everything white. Black absorbs sunlight, therefore gets really hot. White reflects sunlight, therefore doesn't get nearly as hot when in direct sunlight.

His car is white...

A window would be a good start, gotta keep that cold air in. A headliner of sorts could help too. The heat will go right through a hardtop or soft top. There are numberous thermal barriers/sound deadeners you can line the inside of your top with.

i have a black na with hardtop and dark tinted rear window, after i padded the roll bar it did help a little. The best product i bought to help reduce interior temp was a windshield sun deflector, but of course you cant drive w it on.

Thanks guys.. I'm going to look into a lexan window for the hardtop and maybe some padding for the roll bar. A headliner wouldn't be a bad addition either!

Something like this

Over a their edead 45, would make an awesome heat/sound deadening headliner.

The roof would just have a foam kind of appearance. Neither product is heavy heavy.
