Does anyone know if the Koenig K5000 seat will fit in a miata? It is very similar to the OEM VW R32 seat which is awesome! It is on the FlyinMiata seat list http://www.flyinmiata.com/tech/seats.asp but the specs seem a bit large.
I have a line on a nice set of used ones. Seats are just like this except black fabric rather than leather.
According to a rep at http://www.sportseats4u.com/ they will fit although the Koenig rails for a miata are listed at £330 (~$650) which seems absolutely absurd. #-o
Guess I'll be fabbing up some adapters for stock rails...
I'd say keep the base and shoulder area under 20" if not as close as possible.. Nothing worse than beating the ish out of your tranny tunnel or having a seat "wing" hangining out into your door jamb area!?
Accourding to flyin looks like the RS or K series of that seat would fit nicely.
21" shoulders is too big IMO.

Well Jason, you were 100% correct. The shoulder bolsters don't allow full recline and I definitely want/need full recline. Looks like I'll be stickin' w/ stockies for now.
I am going to clean/refurb these and sell them to the Euro crowd where they originated. DOH! #-o
Oh well, hopefully it will pay for some new shoes or a HD Ace. 8)
