I've wanted a seven clone forever. Somehow I know if I ever wreck the Miata, the parts won't get reshelled into another Miata like i've always intended, they'll probably end up in a Lo-cost... i can see it now.

I just noticed yesterday that there isn't any hint of going to a 1.8 kit. I seriously doubt that it'd be that much more difficult.

Hey Kyle...you'd taken my idea on M.net one step further and suggested an Elite re-do (tube frame coupe on Miata parts). I like the idea, but I wonder if aluminum would be better for the body parts than the original fiberglass (which tended to crack and shatter, IIRC).

That looks great. I'm thinking building a seven replica, but the most commun is a ford (sierra) base.
