Hey guys!

I was just wondering about 949 single or twindisk clutch vs 1.6 vs 1.8 (what I have stock '00)
I only daily drive the car, how would you describe it in city driving?
Does a smaller clutch require more slipping?

Also, how was the install, I have read that it's trial/error for the twin disc?
if it's difficult, my plans are to get a fidanza 1.6 (~7lbs) and spec pressure plate (6 or 9lbs depending if it's aluminum, a diff of 3lbs and ~300$). I don't think it's worth it though, but once your light, why not go all the way?

Thanks,
John

Since you also made a thread I'll just post this here:

I would highly suggest also doing the rear main seal...that ended up prematurely killing the discs because someone claimed to do it then months later adimted to not doing it....**** YOU RT!

Okay, read your thread and on the one yr update you mention a 1.6 slipping after a year.
This is partially the way I was going to go..so I have to ask how aggressive do you drive? And do you think it would suit me? I drive like a grandma 70% of the time. (shift at 3K, short city route with lots of stop lights (lots of clutch slipping/shifting).
