I would think it should clear. The bulkiest part of the manifold is way down at the collector. The number 1 runner might be close but isn't as radical looking as the RS*R header which reportedly fit on LHD models. Corksport offered the Mazdaspeed header on their website for quite some time. You might be able to contact them about it.

The only problem I can think of, is the steering shaft/ uni joint.
that's exactly what I'm affraid of... my RS-R manifold didn't fit at all because of the shaft

Unless you want improper fluid flow and negate the purpose of the header in the first place
