There will be an MRS meet at BRS Autodesign in City of Industry on April 22, noon time. It is about 5 minutes away from speedzone. Maybe we can all meet up there too before you guys go to speedzone. Last time there were about 30 MRS that showed-up. I don't want to be the only Miata in that meet. I think it would be cool to hang-out with other roadsters, and see what they are up to.

Maybe you can teach us how not to be rice and change our way of fixing up cars. If you show-up to the shop I can show you Teins project car, the first 7 sec. front wheel drive Pro Dragster, Time attack FD (unlimited class), few NSX, and a 12,000 sf of warehouse space. I can change all that if not being rice (to you) will make me a lot of money. I'm serious! I want to see your car so you can enlight me please.

I had a great time meeting Mike (Grinder in this forum) and his partner Jay (MRS fanatic) and seeing some really cool MRSs. There were at least a dozen there and about half that many Roadsters showed up with rain threatening (which never materialized).
Two of the MRSs had hardtops which I had never seen before -- it makes them look really cool. Two others had the BRS wide body kit which I actually like better than their Roadster wide body kit. There was at least one turbo-ed and one supercharged. I came away with a new respect for a model that I had never given much thought to.
My friend Gary from SOCALM showed up for a while, I met Urban (Leonard?) from here, and a few new guys who said they would join us (I see Andrew already joined ["CrimsonMX5"], and there was Brandon and a couple of others who I hope find us...all nice, non-ricey race-oriented guys). BRS got us a few pizzas, thanks! We got a tour of the shop and saw some awesome projects they're working on for the next SEMA show in 11/06. They started up their metallic pink FD drift car for us. Man, it was loud!
Mike was really knowledgeable, nice, and enthusiastic. He showed us his '90 with V-mount intercooler (like Chris Lee's), ducted hood, rear diffuser and explained that his cool Work VS-XX were absent because he traded them and one of his wide body kits with a member of this very forum for an entire used Roadster!
I'll post some pics soon.

and that FD you speak of I've seen it at Streets of willow... didn't the Swift S15 kick the crap out of it?
i am 100% that the guys at BRS are cool and they make some neat stuff. i must have gotten a bad impression from the pics of all the cars/trucks i saw on their site with all the bling bling low riders or whatever you call big expensive SUVs with too much noise being projected from them.

Yup! you are right about swift kicking our @ss, but this happened in Button Willow and not Willow Springs. We are also sponsored by swift. They gave us the wrong spring rate for our FD that race you are talking about. They didn't expect the FD to run stiffer springs like the one they used for RE Amemiya's nurbugring car. Plus that was the shake down run in button willow. Swift changed the springs for us after that day. We ran the car again in willow springs and Fontana raceway where we placed 2nd on the unlimited class . We are actually talking to TEIN about this problem and they agreed to custom make us a better full-raced suspension next time.
Oh, the Button Willow race was the very first time our driver Alex Pfiefer saw and actually drove the car so, You got to give us a little credit for being 3 sec. slower than the swift car which have been racing their car several times already.
