who has them? how long have they lasted? where did you source your from? how much?

the reason being is that i've read that they are more durable for cars that run rich.

my aftermarket ceramic core cat took a dump after 4 years + P0420 code.
btw my NB has 65k miles, n/a, stock ecu.

for research:
high flow cat ; catalytic converter ; metal core cat ; metallic core cat ;

maybe this thing is relatively new unit. i only found one guy from m.net that had it for 3 years and then sold his car.

ceramic are 50-80 dollars (high flow don't last long from what i read 2-3 years)
metallic are $150-200

I think that was me on m.net

Spoke to a few friends they have had metcats last over 5 years.

I will get back to you in a few years as a new metcat is going on to the car now.
