Eunos- european miata
yah no, Eunos was a spearate entity from mazda that was suppose to be a higher up edition of mazda. Sort of like acura to honda. They had the roadster which translates to the miata or mx5 depending on what country. By the way it was only in Japan that it was called the eunos so you are double wrong.

How do you figure? You must not be referring to me then.

"In Japan, the car was not badged as a Mazda, as the company was experimenting with the creation of different marques for deluxe models, similar to Nissan's Infiniti and Toyota's Lexus (both brands of which launched at the same time as the Miata). Instead, the Mazda MX-5 was sold as the Eunos Roadster in that market."
