Miata Headlights/Please Help

Hello everyone, I am in search for some "Legal Headlights" for my 94 miata, I live in Vegas and some spots and roads are very dark with no light so I want to upgrade my headlighsts. I checked eBay and found some headlights. I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with any eBay head lights? If so what do you think about them? price? Link? "Before, after"Pictures? The main thing here is of course being legal and of course being brighter and better than the OEM headlights. Any help would be very helpful and appreciated, thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Here are a few headlights I found and would like your opinion on them.

eBay lights are crap. No thought put in for the optics. Best bang for the buck is some Hella E-Codes with decent halogens bulbs.
awww that sucks ...for me.. lol haha...

Any links to the lights you suggested?
trust me yo, dont get the projector crap, cause i have them, and i cant see jack ****!

i used the pepboys sylvania oem upgrades, they are freakin fabulous bang for buck. i used the one stage above oem, and tony uses the silverstars.

if you want to spend less to get more, bang for buck has to be sylvanias.

if you want upgradeability, then go with the Hella E-Codes.. www.rallylights.com

oh, im not quite sure, but i think the direct link is http://www.rallylights.com/hella/7in.asp
I'll second the vote for rallylights.com
Lots of good stuff there =D>
sweet, thanks terry, that's what im pretty much want, bang for the buck, there so many headlights on http://www.rallylights.com/hella/7in.asp

witch ones should i be looking at to get?

"terry" have you had any problems with cops? as far as being to bright or anything?

thanks for the help guys
for cheap I like the silverstars. If you want to spend a bit more get the ecodes and some h4 silverstar bulbs for them.
I had silverstars before.. about 30$ each i think from autozone... they went out after a year.

the lighting output was better then stock tho..

now
i'm running h4 conversion and some bulbs from autobacs.. I like them better then the silverstars.

I believe the first and the last are the same lights.
I got them probably 1,5 year ago and I really enjoyed their look.
Many times I got compliments about them in the miata meetings...but (yes there is always a but) the light output is bad. The beam is not aimed and it looks blur. So I don't recommend these for anything other than city driving (even though I did made a road-trip from LA to Mexico (Mexicali))...
Yeah, silverstars don't always last long and tend to go out rather unexpectedly. I the current ones I have one is about a year old and the other is pushing a year and a half.
no problems with cops with any lights i've ever owned... just personal problems with lighting outputs...

i say go with some e-codes from r-speed, link is above... and swap out the bulbs for some better bulbs.

Sweet, I will keep looking around, thanks for the help guys.

Just out of curiosity, does any one have any pictures of how bright there headlight set up is?

Drop in replacements, less cost than the HID kits, excellent light output. And if you really feel the need, get the higher wattage bulbs which fit the same lamp housings. Replacement H4 bulbs are readily available.

Of the ones on that page, I like the ECE (European Code) version better. The DOT requires that more light go UP to light up overhead sign on LOW beam, and that seems to spoil the rest of the low beam pattern to me.
I had the same problem. So i got some hella, match with some osram cool blue.

Do you have any pictures of your set up at night? I want more of a bright white look, instead of the blue. But of course as long as it?s better than OEM, witch im sure it is.
I want to get to Hell Headlights but im still not sure witch ones to get seen how there is a lot of different kinds on there website, sorry if you guys already answered my question and im just to dumb to see it or notice it, but witch ones should I get? Can you guys write down the whole name of it as it?s posted on the web site? Yeah I know really retarded of me right? Sorry :?
