This is specifically for the Miata. I know a bunch of you know about this but we do have some Newbies on the forum.

Decode You VIN

Mine:

This VIN is for a Mazda Miata car (1.8L), model year 1995, made at the Hiroshima plant.
It was the 957th car made in the 6th production year.

Not to piss on your parade but the 'decoder' doesnt really decode anything. You should already know the model/production year of your car and the ending digits of the serial tell you the sequential production number. The 'decoder' just states the obvious. ;)

So many more made in the first and second production years. The miata REALLY took off in the EARLY 90s.
