Hey guys...
Took my car to the track...
Mid Mount Comp. Oil Less 76mm Turbo, 0.96 A/R, T4 Flange, 3.5" Downpipe, Billet Wheel, TRIPLE Ball Bearing Ceramic @ 9psi boost.
93 octane.

The mod list is in the video...

I think its about 630-640rwhp at the track...

Its on Street Tires. 225/45/15 Nitto NT01 Autox Tires.
I literally rolled through the 60ft then punched it.

2660lb's without me in it.

Let me know what you think!

An 11.5 seemed a little 'slow' until I saw the 138 mph trap ... jesus-f-christ.

Yeah. With a good launch I'd expect very low 10 second times.

You basically have a mini zr1. Except you have more power to the wheels and 800lbs less weight... and they trap 10.8's stock.

Not saying its slow or lackluster by any means. Your car is a fucking beast.

Thanks.
Zr1's trap 129-132 depending on driver though.
If I actually launched I'd be a little over 140+mph. And I can turn my boost up.

Off a highway roll my car should leave a zr1 several buses behind me.
Only one way to find out :)

15x10 6uls and 275 Hoosiers in the plans?

2660lbs without driver? Not that with the weight that's heavy or anything, but that seems a good 100-150lbs heavier than other v8 swapped miatas I've seen. Plans to lighten her up at all?

It has HEAVY crash bars underneath the car that are there for structure and crash barriers for the turbo plumbing... Its not getting any lighter than this...
Turbo kit is a good 150lb's...

No, Hoosiers aren't in the plans.

I have drag radials but when I mounted them up and went for a run the clutch started slipping...

Oops..

And that turbo mounting in the back is beneficial how? Especially in light of the 100/150 extra pounds? There's someone else on here doing a similar bound to yours, but is taking a different approach which I would wager would weigh less than yours.

10-15hp will take care of the 100 pounds of weight.

Why would someone change the entire build direction of there car for a measly 100lb's?
The turbo mounting back there is for space reasons, plus it gives it the sleeper factor and keeps temps under the hood down.

Oh and also, if I did mount the turbo under the hood I wouldn't loose much weight... MAYBE 10 pounds...

Wow! Haha. Well that accounts for the weight, I was just curious where it came from. Badass car man. I wish I could see it rip faces in real life.

1st off, beneficial how? He has 640whp! Nuff said.

2nd jdmv8 build, while also super awesome, used all boss frog parts and truck headers. Those parts alone will make up for the weight difference in piping.

3rd, who cares? Both cars are awesome. Build something cooler and then complain. Jdmv8s car isn't even weighed yet.
