now i was thinking about ITB's and started thinking about i should probably get a heat extracting hood to cool intake temps.. well when i started looking they all bost how it REDUCES engine bay air pressure

so which is more logically benificial? highertemps/higherpressure or lowertems/lower pressure?

Lower underhood temperatures are better if you're having cooling problems. One way to achieve this is to vent the hot air after it passes through the front mounted heat exchangers. This typically isn't a concern unless you're running FI. You can always duct cold outside air to your intake if you want to do that. A vented hood isn't really going to give you hp gains but if you're having thermal management issues it can help keep things closer to optimal operating temperature range. You add pressure with FI silly! Ram air is for chumps driving Pontiac Trans-Ams and Bugatti Veyrons.
