Fast96, is your spoiler higher than the top of the car? Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that actually creates lift if it is. I don't know too much about wings though.

The higher the foil is the better. If you can get it 5 ft above the roof line in completely clean air that would be optimal. They are often times hardly functional at all if they are far below the roof line.
