where: thunderhill raceway, ca
when: nov. 17, 2006

start: so. san francisco to thunderhill raceway approx. 200 miles, 6am-8:30 am

and then: thunderhill raceway to sacramento, ca approx. 80 miles

and then: sacramento, ca back to so. san francisco end time 8pm

the two cars:

so after the trackday, we headed to sacrament to drop off the two roadsters and ride home in something different??..

no not in the Escort RS2000 (i wish we could, but it?s not registered)

you hit the nail on the head 90_mx! when'd you see the car at autoplus? philip acutally has 2 or 3 other escorts at the shop right now...along with 10,000 other projects--i wantetd to take the escort to the track instead of one of the miata's--but it was too much work to get it prepped in time

Sounds like a great day and even better to be able to share it with your dad. That's a nice lookin' 69SS. My first car was a 69 SS Conv. I kick myself almost every day for selling it.

I was doin some work up there and my cuzzins house is on West Molke and Mission so I used to drive by AUTOPLUS all the time and the RS Escort is unmistakable! did you bring it in from Pinas`
