ok i put this thing in about a month ago and it just never worked. I found the translated directions even though i was a little unsure of one of the steps. I was suppose to connect the grey and the yellow the the same red and white wire right. So when eveything is connected the lights go up and straight back down. Can some one help me trouble shoot?

When I installed mine, it didn't work on the first go if memory serves me correctly (it was a few years ago).

I think the issue was that the kit instructs you to use crimp-on connectors to tap into the wire behind the retractor button. But I recall that there wasn't much room to work with back there and when you put the console back in place, it squashes the connectors and it doesn't work.

I took it all apart and soldered the wires on instead, and it's worked like a charm for 4 yrs now.

if you got all the colored wires connected right id make sure you got a good ground source. it wont work at all if you dont have the ground connected to a good source. and make sure you looked at the right instructions. personally when i put mine on i was looking at the NB instructions and not the NA ones like i should have been lol.
