the hood needs wetsanded badly, but i just refinished everything that's black in Krylon Rust-tough Semi-Gloss Black. you can REALLY see how stupidly high the rear end sits.

awesome, panda look ftw!

im goin black and white too. got a ways to go though. and currently not sure if I want to paint the hood but CF is expensive!

just curious, why the steelies? dont get me wrong, they look good on there I think, but I just know they're a bit on the heavy side.

also whats the decal in front of the rear tire?

well, as for steelies(as well as the missing trunk and rear lip spoiler) being gone, i'm broke and haven't gotten a job yet. have to make the car payment somehow, so i had to part with it all. #-o it'll be better come springtime... i hope. i love steelies and would love to get some in a 14x7 with about an inch or so of lip. i like some of the diamond racing steelies, but the ones i want don't come in anything smaller than a 15x8 :(

it's "Superclutch Industries" my friend got pretty bored and designed some stickers. they look pretty cool, but mean nothing.
I think the car looks great - very simple and clean. I even think it manages to pull of the steelies quite well 8)
Sweet jesus - I see where you are going with your design....great looking tater.
nice, paint the rear finish panel as well
i have a soft spot for panda style, good stuff!
I need a flat black hood to go with my decklid and spoiler...

Are those the original accessory fog lamps from Mazda back in 1990? I think Tim has scored an original set of those as well. Very rare these days.

they're actually the $17.99 AutoZone Yellow driving lights that i cut the lamp bucket out of and swapped the lenses for fog light ones so i could see at night.

those are where i relocated my headlamps to using a 9007 Bulb socket from a Honda Accord. i want to make a writeup on how to do it, but i keep procrastinating on getting an extra set and re-doing it. i'll be doing HID's next using some "euro clear" housings. i can't see much at night now without the foglights on. i pulled the headlights out of the pop-ups and normally run them a little open for fresh air into the bay, i just haven't felt like it lately. i plan on doing a NACA duct like JDMAflac has in his signature.

that'd be awesome, it's a bit hard to find someone reliable enough these days to pull it off well, not to mention it'd probably cost as much to do that as it would to get a set of diamond's, and the diamonds would most definately be lighter.
I'll be going the Club Racer theme pretty soon for track days. I'm working on a set of lightweight Bridgstone SUPER R.A.Ps right now. Can't wait.
Gee...maybe we need to make a Club Racer's club. I know Junior looks the part
club racer look club FTW!

Club Racer is a great term - but I am curious how would you (or anyone here) actually describe a club racer look? In Japan - I have seen many club racer looks - some nostalgic and some neo-nostalgic.

Maybe we should look into it

After all, in most circles, Junior is UGLY... :(
