Here is my latest idea.
Has anyone heated NA tail lights and separated the lens?
I used some translucent paint on my bike amber lights and made them red. They look great. You can not tell they are painted.
I painted the inside so it never chips or wears off.
I want to do this to the amber part of the NA lights. I think all red would look a lot better.

Most I've personally seen is people tinting chrome tails, a la

Yes.
I think eliminating the amber looks a lot cleaner. And more modern also.
I did read a post on mi***.net where a guy painted the outside. I think painting the inside would be better.
