I know Napa has a good reputation around here for good cheap blank rotors. However, when I went to my local Napa, the front rotor for a 90 miata was $29 each and the rears were $24 each + tax. Online at import replacement parts (http://www.importrp.com/product.php?productid=111576&cat=38&page=1), the Brembo blanks are only $31/32 each free shipping! With these prices, is there any reason to stay with Napa blanks?

Good find as i'm looking to get Napa rotors too. But doesn't Napa have a lifetime warranty on their rotors and they are local just in case there's any issues.

The good thing about the Brembos is that they use high quality metals i.e. High Carbon steel. So there's no rusting on these rotor or no need to plate them.

BTW, Napa is 2 year warranty on their rotors, I was on Hold with IRP and browsing around other things and no one answered. It makes me think twice on ordering if you can't get a hold of these guys.

I found my pads here: http://clubroadster.net/vb_forum/showthread.php?t=56405

Well maybe the quality of the higher end rotors are made of high carbon steel and maybe the lower end isn't. The price may make a difference.

Hmmm, Brembo seems to be the choice to go if the prices are that similar then.

I got the PBR/Axxis ULT pads instead from IRP, they just had a shipment come in :)

working for performance friction i see that all rotors are not equal. there is allot more to the process for making them then just pour iron, cut iron, sell. talking on the internet i cant reveal our process. If the price on the brembo and napa rotors are similar they are probably made in the same plant. eater way your probably buying the same rotor. if your looking for a performance rotor look into DBA rotors. My company only makes rotors for the NC, otherwise i would be screaming go performance friction lol.
