NASA Florida is holding an event at Homestead-Miami Speedway on the 23-24th of this month. They will be offering a Hyperdrive, all four levels of HPDE, time trial, competition license evaluation, and double sprint roadracing. They will also be using the “club” course configuration [w/T10 cut-thru.] This is my favorite configuration for sure! Turn 10 is a blast to go wide open at 90mph+ through with a Spec Miata!

NASA (National Auto Sport Association) provides a great way to get yourself on a real race track in your very own car. Miata's are built for the track, and they will no doubt be the most popular car at any race or track event you visit because of this. NASA is not all about racing like the SCCA with their Club Racing weekends, they offer everything from the beginner in their daily driver to the pro in their full blown race car. We race our two Spec Miata's with NASA Florida in the road racing group, which is the highlighted group of the weekend because it is wheel to wheel racing with all different sorts of race cars. We pit our Miata's against other Miata's, Mustangs, Porsches, Corvettes, 350Z's, and whatever else comes out to play! We do surprisingly well against these cars considering how much faster they are than us (in a straight line at least :haiguyths:)

I hope some of you that are interested in getting involved with track events, and eventually wheel to wheel racing will come out and enjoy the festivities! NASA Florida is definitely the "coolest kid on the block" when it comes to club racing and track events, you will know this when you attend the Saturday Night Awards Ceremony and have a beer with the rest of the drivers, it's addicting to say the least!

Or, simply come on out to Homestead-Miami Speedway on Saturday March 23rd or Sunday March 24th. Enter the track through the south entrance, sign in at the security booth (it's free, no admission), and peruse the pits for some awesome cars, and catch the racing action by planning your day around the races. The race groups go out four times each day, and you can see the times on the weekend schedule here:

Hope to see some of you all out there! Be sure to stop by our trailer and say hi! Look for the two gray and green 5X Racing Spec Miata's.
