So I found a good local deal on some Koni Sports for an NB, but I drive an NA. I want to pull the trigger, but I'm a bit unsure of the differences between the two shocks. The NB Koni's should just bolt right in, but to my understanding NB shocks are longer than NA shocks. Yet, some people have told me that NA Koni Sports are the exact same length as NB Koni Sports. I'm probably going to either be running ISC/FCM/any aftermarket top hats so would the drop from those compensate for the higher ride height I might get from the NB Koni's? Also, I plan on running the Koni's with a set of coilover sleeves so ride height may not be an issue (not looking for more than 1"-1.5" of drop from stock). The only issue I'm kind of concerned with is the amount of shock travel I will have.

I found a similar thread except it was a question about the NB Bilsteins instead of Koni's. If anyone has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated!

The only real difference is the top hat design. The '99+ top hats locate the end of the shock shaft about an inch or so higher than the NA top hat. This gives you more suspension travel, and as long as you use the NB style top hats, you should have no problem with them... that being said, you will hate them, just give them to me instead... LOL
