The previous owner of my miata decided it was a good idea to hack into the seat-belt towers in order to fit the style bar.
I hate the gaint shiny thing and am removing it, however I need to repair the towers and am not 100% sure how to go about it.

As you can see he hacked about 2-3 inches out of it for clearance issues, I am going to be installing a hard-dog rollbar and this needs to be addressed before I get into that. Any suggestions?

I would buy the roll bar and go from there. There will be a whole new set of things that need cutting. he may have helped you out.. its hard to tell from the pictures.

I have a set of the bossfrog seatbelt adapters you can have if they will help you out.
That would be a huge help once I get my bar, however right now what I need is a place to work on my car over winter. If I dont find one soon its going to have to be dead storage.
