Any Ideas how to install this? I just got it recently. My radio still works but I wanted to try something new. Lmk.
specs:

1992 Miata

Stubby Antenna:

Inside trunk of Old Antenna:

Outside of the car:

Stick a two-pronged tool in the two holes in the OEM antenna chrome thing on top. Unbolt it by spinning counterclockwise, lefty-loosey. Take out old assembly. Replace with new assembly. Plug new thing in.

Having a problem with the antenna, I've removed the chrome thing etc etc.. now unscrewing the antenna is a B****. I been twisting it for about ten mins, and it ain't going anywhere. Any Ideas?

It's the manual antenna, not the power.

no. it looks threaded on, so I kept twisting the antenna to remove it. I been spinning it for awhile and it did not even bother to come off. Sprayed WD-40 and it helped twist a bit more, but still didn't come off..

You have to pull the entire assembly from inside the trunk. Unscrew the bolts and unplug the wires.

If you're trying to remove the retractable antenna from the top, you better work out first.
But on a serious note, you can't remove it from outside of the car.

I've remove the whole assembly just now. I'm trying to unscrew the antenna. Same problem.. Any help on this part?

Oh, do you mean the remaining rubber bit that centers the antenna in place and keeps water out? The one that is under the chrome ring?

Once you remove that ring and removed the mast (via the trunk area), then this rubber piece should just come off. If its suck on the car, the PO most likely glued it on.

I removed all of that lol. The rubber ring etc.. I'll post some pics later, It's pouring out here in hawaii

Sorry it's been pouring for the past 3 days and I don't got time to work on the Miata. Busy with school. We ain't doing **** in class right now, so I'm here just surfing clubroadster.
