Hey guys, names Obi. Just got my NB in November and have been enjoying it so far, though it looks like i got lots of work to do to get it running properly... Seems like my EGR is always open and i have blown Cat. Oh, and also my 4th cylinder is misfiring... Got work to do but hoping to clean the EGR and see if it'll start working properly again...haha. Gotta get to the grind and juggle car, school, work, family, friends, and hopefully a girl this year. Hope to learn a lot from u guys and thanks for all the future support.

He has an NB1 and yes, cops in EG are ridiculous.

I'd check your coilpack if it's misfiring. I had the same problem in my 2000 and it went away as soon as i replaced it... Apparently nb1's are notorious for having that problem.

i need to do this, sometimes when i start my car it starts misfiring and i gotta keep it up around 3k, then it will kinda sorta "snap outta it" and go back to idling like normal
neither have i, but im trying to keep it that way, i dont need to get pulled over by an EG cop to see how they are when 10+ ppl have told me the same thing about them over and over. :lol:
