Hello, currently I don't have a Miata but I plan to have one as my next project car. No stranger to Mazdas here, I had two MX-6s (94 & 95). Currently have a 2005 Mazda 3 with a FI conversion and 2007 Mazda 6.

I'm looking forward to soaking up what knowledge I can from here! Buddy of mine just bought a MSM and it was blast to drive. Not sure which model I'll be going for but I'm still a couple years off, got to finish my current project that is the 3.

I didn't know you were on here Aaron, lol. We need to get together again soon, I think Sok is doing a fender rolling party at his house soon. Haven't seen any updates from him though.

I've been leaning toward a 95. Couple of reasons, second year of it being the 1.8, not obd-II and I think they are sexy, lol.

@orangemsm, I live close to Smyrna, north side of 840 off of old nashville hwy. A few car buddies of mine will get together at the Toot's in Smyrna. Next time we meet up I'll let you know if you want to come out.

Yeah, I joined sometime ago to start digging around and seeing how much I could learn. Been wanting a Miata for ages, just can't seem get money saved up to get one as it seems something always goes wrong and the monies need to be diverted to more important matters. Fender rolling party, huh? Sounds like fun and of course, we'll have to hit up Cricket's afterwards. :mrgreen:

No doubt on the Cricket's. I've been keeping an eye out for a deal for a couple years but the 3's build just keeps kicking my butt. Almost done though, 6spd goes in at the end of may and a new tune then she'll be done.

Sam wants us to get a more practical car to replace the 6 (thinking CX9) then I'm allowed to get a Miata, lol. I told her if I can nab one in good shape for a couple grand it'd be in the driveway and I'd just deal with it, lol.

Lol, I hear that. We're kinda in the same situation. Em wants something more utilitarian than her Civic and since she's not a fan of driving the MS3 (she wants something more along the lines of a older FX35), if I get a Miata, she gets the MS3 to use as a trade-in.
