I just arrived at Travis AFB with my turbo miata that I am still finishing up the exhaust on. It currently stops just before the rear end. I have the piping to finish it, just need a good shop/welder to finish it up. It's also had an issue with it since the day I bought it that I am yet to diagnose properly. I can run it for an hour or 2 drive, outside of town, and it starts to hiccup and I lose throttle response and the car dies. Fires back up with no issues after I sit for ~15min and let everything cool. At first, I suspected hall sensor/crank angle sensors becoming heat soaked so I replaced them. All is well till I take a sight seeing drive out to San Fran and on the way back, same issues. So if anyone knows someone that can lend some expert hands in my area, I would appreciate a point in the right direction. Additional info: 2000 miata(BP-4W). Homemade turbo kit w/ eManage Ultimate.
