Hey, new member from Ohio. Proud owner of a black '95 mazda miata, tan interior all stock except I put in a roll bar recently. Just got a hard top for it today, will be repainting it shortly to match the paint. Also looking into new headlights.

Will try! I'll be starting to work around a body shop shortly, learning anything and everything I can, no pay but I just wanna learn whatever I can as I'm searching for career avenues. My first kind of work ill do will probably be prepping the hard top for paint & just helping out around the shop doing crap jobs and what not.

I wouldn't have my hardtop as my first bodywork experiment as they're valuable. Try the trunk or something easily replaceable price wise.

I'm not very worried about ruining my hard top, ill be under the supervision of the shop owner. But I mean sure ill have to trust his judgement on what he lets me do and how he teaches me, I definately wont be spraying it. I'm not very knowledgeable about the process but I don't see too much danger in helping strip the paint and sanding and stuff as long as I'm instructed well.

Wayne County, Ohio. Ever heard of Smuckers jelly? That's the place! I don't have any pictures right now, but ill have some soon & also before&after pictures of when I do my hart top & headlights. Wont be anything too special though lol
