First of I'm 6'7" and i just sat in an NA yesterday... I think i can make it work!!! I'm confident that i could drive the car around as is but would benefit greatly from some aftermarket seating... Does anyone know if Bride makes their Super Low Max line for Miatas? I was originally going to get an S2000 but figure this is more my style... and here's why...

I'm planning a new project. Having always loved JDM styling and pretty much anything that isn't available over here I want to build a Miata. JDM interior and exterior but with a twist on the drivetrain... I want to run a 5.0 Mustang V8. All the style of Japan with the torque and brute power of the states...

I was originally going to make the exterior a british theme since my inspiration comes from a Shelby Cobra Replica project i was working on last summer... but I think JDM is the way to go...

What do you guys think? Any suggestions on the direction i should take (styling wise) would be neat to hear...

Thanks

Damn 6'7 is freakin tall. I thought I was big for a miata and I'm only 6'2. To answer your question yes, bride does make the vios lll low max bucket for the miata. Brides website is www.tees-usa.com I had always planned on getting that seat but I found out that they only make them in buckskin. I'm thinking that I'm just going to go with the recaro spg and bolt it right on the floor. I'm pretty sure you bolt pretty much any aftermarket bucket right on the floor so don't just limit yourself to the low max system seats.
