Basically the brakes on my car for a 1.6 are puny and a bit shite seeing I have 190hp now!

So courtesy of EBC Brakes I have grooved and dimpled 1.8 discs and redstuff front and rear pads.

I also decided to get some Goodridge braided brake hoses for a firmer pedal feed all round!

This set-up is supposed to be the bollocks and is the next best thing to a BIG brake conversion. Which is overkill seeing as i will never track the car.

The brakes need to run in so will report back on their performance.

I did some research and there are good and bad reviews about EBC brakes.

Basically they should improve braking 100% cus I have a bigger 1.8 discs that are grooved and dimpled up front and braided hoses meaning they will be less prone to fade.

Oh and they look damn good! :lol:

cool. did you fit 1.8 calipers aswell? i need some decent brakes.

I already have 1.8 brakes, where's the 2.0L brakes for me?
