Hey guy, new Miata owner here. Just joined after some "old gay men" at Miata.net recommended I check this forum out. It seems that if your not interested in keeping your car bone stock or making it an SCAA racer, your not a welcome as others there.

Anyways, this is my first Miata but one of many other cars i've owned including a E30,E36,WRX,Rx-7, and S13. So far the miata has been the most fun platform i've owned while in stock trim. It's a little down on power from what i'm used to but has a great feel. I'm looking forward to investing a little love and money into it and see how things turn out.

Here's the list of plans that got some boo's over on miata.net

15x8 +0 wheels XXR 002's w/tires
coilovers
OEM R lips F & R
duckbill trunk lip
nardi japanese market optional wood wheel
header and exhaust
correct tan top w/glass for my B&T package

considering but not decided yet:
megasquirt (get rid of afm, optimize bolt-ons, allow for future possibilities like FI)
FM frame rails (I've heard they get rid of a fair amount of shimmy and shake)
roll bar (car won't see track time so not sure if it's worth it just for style)

Ah take a shower, you still smell like old fart. Quick wash it off!

Haha just kidding. Welcome.

Hope you enjoy your stay. Your mod list looks right at home here.

It's kinda like a mix of Bengay, Ensure, Raisin Bran and Depends

Lol thanks and yeah I'm really just looking a fun/stylist weekend cruiser and daily. Not really interested in track time or expensive tickets for doing stupid **** on public streets

I like the black top on it! It looks better IMO. As for the rollbar....even if you're not tracking it I look at is as a safety feature that every convertible should have.

I like my local old person Miata club. They're nice, always imply that I have a "nice race car," and always have the best candy.

Welcome.
