Hi all... been posting for a couple weeks and learning about CR some. I can't say I'm strictly jay dee em but I mix it in when it fits the bill.

Live in DC and am always tinkering with my 01... it started out as a base model but has had:
4-wheel Panache big brakes (side-graded to goodwin big brakes)
rota c8's in bronze, then black, now silver
mazdaspeed triangle brace under the hood
RB 1.25" tubular front bar (set to "soft", no rear bar)
Advance Design shocks and GC springs replaced with TEIN Flex and EDFC
KAAZ clutch type LSD
Mazdaspeed motor and diff mounts
custom tilton/fidanza/clutchnet twin plate clutch (holy holds 400 ft-lbs batman!)
DIY GT2876R turbo setup with:
air/water intercooler
vishnu fuel rail + 550cc injectors
ETD racing equal length turbo header
TiAL external wg
full me-built 3" turbo back exhaust
DEFI Link Boost, EGT, Water temp, and Oil press. gauges
Run by a Tec3 which was replaced by a Hydra
Stereo: Alpine CDA-7897 HU
JL 500W sub and MA Audio 4x100 amps
a single 10" sub IN THE TRUNK =D>
one pair Peerless HDS mids
one pair LPG Al dome tweets
Alpine alarm with remote windows, locks, and trunk pop (I'm lazy)
Hard Dog double diagonal bar (padded, w/cover)
A voodoo magnum pearl shift knob
wheelskinz two-tone gray/black steering wheel cover
mazdaspeed pedal covers
Philips VisionPlus bulbs in all the lights up front
MSM-style black headlights
Fluidic washer nozzles
and a partridge in a pear tree.

btw, the turbo is "resting" right now... and I'm running a stock intake plus RB 4-1 header with the roadstersport midpipe and muffler. I'll put it back in soon.

i'm not familiar with bamo, but when i lived in maryland i often hung with the guys from chesapeake area roadsters. if you don't know of them already, they're a good group of guys who like to get together about once a month and wrench eachothers cars - which was a world of help when i got my first miata.

hey ian thanks for the tip... i've already helped them do a clutch job on someone's car :)

BAMO is a northern califiornia group... dont do much out here unfortunately. I did manage to pull some of the DC metro guys out of the woodwork and we meet up at fuddruckers on a (somewhat) weekly basis.
