Opinions on suspension restoration on our roadsters?

Hello guys, new forum member here.

I've owned my first miata now for 7 months. I'm 20 years old, just for reference.

My 92 NA 1.6l is on stock suspension with 195k miles.

One thing I am looking forward to is adding coilovers, sway bars, frame rails, new steering rack bushing, etc etc.

BUT, here is the issue. -- My lower ball joint boots are cracked, as are the uppers, and while they make no noise or seem to have issue, I would like your guys' opinion on what all should look to be replaced BEFORE I up the spring rates and replace all the old suspension components on my 25 year old suspension.

I've had a hard time finding horror stories of miata owners breaking ball joints while driving their slammed miatas with 22 lb wheels.

What do you guys think? Is it important to replace ball joints and tie rod ends before any suspension mods?

Looking forward to responses.
