Mitsuoka Motor has built many different replicars including the

Zimmer-like "BUBU classic SSK", Porsche-esque "BUBU 356 Speedster", Lotus/Caterham 7 style "Zero1", and the Jaguar Mark II influenced "Viewt". Given their history it's no wonder the Orochi looks to me like an akward rendition of the Spyker C8 crossed with the K1 Attack with a healthy dose of Fiero-based Lamborghini Diablo replicar thrown in the mix. I would give all these cars an SCM Investment Grade of F. I think Mitsuoka's will only ever be valued or collected by the truly eccentric.

The little known Orochi concept from the 2003 Tokyo Auto Show is a creation of small Japanese car manufacturer Mitsuoka, specialists in retro concepts. The Mitsuoka Orochi is a radical design by anyone's standards. The name Orochi means 'Serpent' in Japanese, and a sinister, scaly, reptile-like resemblance is not impossible to see. The Orochi is powered by a mid-mounted 3.3 litre V6.

The Orochi Nude Top Roadstar is a new design proposal based on the Mitsuoka Orochi coupe shown at the 2003 Tokyo Motorshow. Like the coupe, the Orochi Nude breaks new ground in the styling department. Controvertial to say the least. With Orochi, meaning Serpent in Japanese, and the addition of the 'Nude' description, if the car reaches production you would technically be driving a Naked Snake.
