This PBIR Majors Race 2 video illustrates perfectly the situation where you have to manage the application of throttle, even in a 125HP car to limit tire degradation over the course of a race. PBIR is notoriously hard on tires, graining and wearing tires out, often in only one session. Attacking the track hard from the outset will ensure you have nothing left to fight with at the end of the race.

In this race Selin Rollan in the red 14 car sets the new track record at 1:33.190, breaking my previous record which stood for less than 14 hours!!!

For a really exciting finish with 0.000 separating 2nd and 3rd place skip forward to 12:50 to view the last two laps. Alex Bolanos was the class of the field and handily won both races.
