So I'm replacing the rings on my 03 block. Long story short, the original ones have been washed out. The block has 60000 miles on it so the cylinder shouldn't be in too bad condition although I will be getting it honed just to resurface it. I bought Supertech (the Japanese brand) piston rings and I need to find out what the end gap is for these engine. So far my plan is to place them inside the cylinder after honing and check the gaps and sand them to the correct tolerances. The engine is completely stock, internally, so piston expansion would be the same as factory. If anyone has any more info/advice on the topic please post it up.

P.S. Are the piston oil jets pressed in or bolted in with a threaded bolt like in the 1.6s (iirc)?
