I just ordered a Racing Beat Power Pulse single tip muffler and standard resonated Racing Beat connecting pipe. This should sound real nice and quiet and make the car tolerable again. I've realized that my red Miata is not the right one for me so I plan to make the car nice enough to give to my parents as a gift and I'll be looking for another car to start over with. Perhaps a BRG, Sunburst, 93LE, or maybe even a MSM. Or maybe I'll try to find an affordable Roadster Coupe shell to import. Or maybe I'll just have to punk all you guys and get an E36 M3.
The Pit Crew Racing exhaust and Zoom reverse lamp (package deal), black 14" Enkei Compe 8 (Watanabe style) wheels w. brand new Azenis tires, FM shock mounts, and a bunch of other Roadster stuff will be on eBay soon. Going back on the car will be newly refurbished 15" silver Panasports with polished lips. I'll probably chrome the tow hooks and give the car a good detailing. Car will also have either a new motor or a new head, depending on which is causing my car to drink oil like Barney Gumball drinks beer. The goal is to have a classic, albeit rather traditional and boring looking red '91 when done that my parents can both enjoy.
So now the eternal debate continues: do I go racer or retro style with the new car?
