so i just picked up my 94 NA miata today,
and i can't get the top to drop, i have a glass rear window on it, and i've been told that its not standard to have that on a NA maita, so can someone help me out here? :mrgreen:

NBs have this problem.

In the second picture, try squeezing those two bars together while you put the top down.

Getting out of the car and gently pushing the top part of the glass down and toward the trunk may also help.

all u need is a hammer. a hammer, and some guts. you are the master of that window and it is time to enforce your will. quickly, hard and without mercy you will prevail :lol:

Yeah, for glass window non-zipper tops you open the top slightly, grab the 3rd crossbar (right before the window) and bring it close to the 2nd pillar. then proceed to lower the top and "flop" the glass down onto the package tray and the top should fall with it.

Despite visibility problems, the glass window's great to clean without worrying about scratches and cracks.

Yeah, you have to do the "flop" to pull the glass piece down.
