when people use RS gauge clusters or other companys (cant think of any ATM) I was wondering if they fix the problem with the tach not reading correctly, or does it just read in the same place as the stock tach?

reads higher than engine rpms, especially at higher rpms. I would think aftermarket tachs wouldn't help, because it's the ECU signal. I think the crystal mod which raises redline, also helps, iirc.

Actually if you look at the intervals between 4000rpm-6000rpm, vs from 6000-8000rpm, you'll notice the intervals on the stock tach are smaller between 6 and 8.

it's not the ECU signal, it's inaccurate components in the dash :?
