From being around the block.
there are a few rules .
do not go up there in the day. The mountain belongs to motorcycles and bikes.
if you do cool your pace and stay in your lane.

If you arent familiar with double laneing. then you really need to proceed with caution at night.these guys depend on headlights to see you ,and for you to see them . act accordingly.

never run beyond your pace .brake early .always leave some on the table to correct.

do i condone ,agree, or participate ?
well i follow the rules of the mountain. it made them not me.and its been alive like this longer than i.
I want to live , so i never put myself on the line. but its not as bad ss you think.

I drive very hard on back roads and go to my cars limits, but I would never in a million years do what you did even if you go by the headlight rule, one mistake and at those speeds it would not be fun at all for you or for anyone else on the road. Its just not worth it to me I would rather track my car and drive hard in my lane on the street.

Awesome video though and good luck with those mountain runs hope you never have any accidents.

Im not sayin anything bad ,
but trust me . you are not driving to your cars limit on a mountain pass. very close maybe .
it would be a near death expeirience every time.

thats why i go to the track . so i can hit that limit. every turn.
but i second the notion
good luck, stay safe, and make it home
