Hello, I was removing AC the other day. And I survived the windshield fogging while raining. Anyways, as I was under the hood today though of routing my air intake...took some time but figured a experiment.
What if I made the AC fan a ram air intake. Remove the fan/motor and use that 2" cirlcle opening to connect it to the airbox. But that's not all!
I would seal the "hollow spaces of the fan housing into a box. Kinda like a big funnel feeding air into the air box.
Reasonable? (ignoring its behind the radiator)
I can also route it below the radiator ala jackson racing $500 intake style, but its not directly in line of sight as the idea above, but it can be a area of higher pressure (aero speak) and cooler temps.
